The Bulgarian Village Dreams complex consists of five two-storied single family residential buildings, each one of 112 or 115 sq.m. living area, situated to the south-east in plots of 700 sq.m. with parking places.The complex is bordered by three streets. It has central power and water supply sources. The inhabitants of the complex will have a wonderful view towards the beauty of nature and enjoy a peaceful, quiet and comforting atmosphere.
The village Burya is located in the mountain range of Stara planina. The countryside around Burya is varied; with heights, clearings, deep valleys, forests and fields following each other.
The village is surrounded by a coniferous and oak forests.
You can choose of two types of houses. Type A is a bit smaller with its 112.47 sq.m. of living area, than the house Type B, which is with 116 sq.m. of living area.
The first stories in any of the two types of houses include living-room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet, closet and entrance hall. The living-room and the bathroom are connected with the entrance hall. A fireplace is located in the space of the living-room. The staircase to the second floor runs along the wall and has one railing. Two bedrooms, a bathroom with toilet and a balcony facing the yard are on the second floor.
Stylistically, the houses are in harmony with the adjacent buildings, which is based on the building traditions of the Early and Late Bulgarian Revival period. Two types of houses emerge from these traditions, differing from the so called Balkan house.
The foundations are of natural stone with lime-cement masonry, laid on sand bedding, placed upon rammed soil. The buildings do not have basements. The first floor is built of cut natural stone bound by lime-cement solution. The angles are fastened by vertical reinforced concrete belts. The second floor structure is of timber. The structures between the floors and roof follow the survived authentic wooden structures. The external walls of the first storey are of stone with lime-cement masonry and extend the foundations upwards. Their joints are treated with moisture resistant solution. The partition walls are made of standard fourfold ceramic bricks laid on the narrow side. The internal walls are plastered with lime-cement, coated with gypsum material and covered with latex. External and partition walls on the second floor and made of bricks. The window sills are wooden processed with solutions making it possible to see the texture of the wood material. The four-slope roof is supplied with external drains. The drain pipes are made of zinc covered sheet iron. The roof is covered with ceramic tiles. The front board and visible parts of the beams are following the traditional practice of the past.
